LEONARDO - 50 inch G&J Lines No 21
Leonardo is a huge 50 inch tall rocking horse here for restoration. He has been identified as a No 21 horse. These horses are unusual in that they do not have a saddleblock and are tacked up similarly to a sportiboy with the removeable saddle. Leo has been overpainted with white gloss, but unfortunately there was no retievable paintwork so he has undergone a full restoration. His brackets read 4 G&JL L L. This particular horse was retailed through Gamages of London. He has a lovely grey mane and tail.
