BASIL - 48 ins G & J Lines x carved - SOLD
Scheduled for a full restoration, a spectacular 48 inch high rocking horse, with fantastic extra carving. Basil has been overpainted in the past. He is an early example of a Lines Brothers horse with a lovely turned head. He retains his orginal stirrups,and his original brass rosettes which have been removed and will be replaced after restoration.He requires replacement replica posts on his stand as these have been replaced at some point in the past. A superb investment.
