WELLINGTON - F H Ayres swingstand - SOLD
Wellington is a very pretty F H Ayres circa 1890. Traces of the Patented 1880 stencil on his stand.
Wellington has been overpainted in white paint which will be carefully removed to see if there is any original paintwork that can be retrieved. He has on his stand the original brass plaque `Benetfink & Co` Ironmongers 107 & 108 Cheapside, London` This was then taken over by Gamages of London.
Restoration is complete and he has gone to his new home.
